Research interests
I am the director of Artificial Intelligence Research Group. My research interests are:
- Machine learning: manipulation of feature space (feature selection, feature construction, kernel construction), discovery of relevance, dimensionality reduction
- Inference: first-order logic, graphical models, and neuro-fuzzy networks
- Search and combinatorial optimisation: path planning, decision tree learning.
