Conventions

Here are some notes on conventions that I've adopted in the logic diagrams and layout drawings.

Signal naming conventions

• A leading "/" indicates a negated signal (true when off). E.g /RUN
  
• A signal name ending with "P" represents a brief pulse (usually of the length produced by a Pulse Former). E.g. CLOCKP
  
• A trailing "*" indicates a wired-OR signal. The star is there as a reminder that any gate output connected to it must be isolated, i.e. the same output can't be directly used to drive anything else. E.g. STOP*

Symbols

The following symbols are used to represent some of the devices specific to Minecraft and Redpower.
